Friday, August 26, 2005 8 days left?? Thursday, August 18, 2005Nothing much can be done on weekdays as I'm pretty much busy at wk, trying to clear my stuff and at the same time, sneaking out of the office to personally hand deliver the wedding invites to the other depts.. After been to a few depts, I have already memorised my "invitation speech!" Me: Hello Abc! This is a little invitation frm me (hands Abc the card) Abc: Oooohhhh!!!! Wat is this?? U getting married is it??!!! Me: Nods with a smile Abc: Ohhhh congratulations!!!! (shakes hand with me) When is it ah?? (while opening the envelope) Me: Its on 4 Sept.. If you're not busy, do come down to my place for lunch lah... Abc: Can can... I will try and make it. Me: Oh yah.. Do come before 2pm ah.. I'll be leaving for the groom's side at abt 2pm Abc: Ohh like that ah?? Can can.. Me: Smiling away.. Ok lah... I hope to see you ah.. Bye! The above is the so called standard conversation that I will have with most of them.. There are some who ask how long we have been together, where are we going for our honeymoon, when I'm starting my leave.. I guess these are the basic qn lah ye... Kalau I nak dapat wedding invites frm a keliq, I pun dua kali lima lah!!! Hehehe.. There was this one auntie whom I invited and she asked me where I'm going for my honeymoon and when I gave her the answer, she replied " Wahhhh!!! so lo-mantic ah!!! " I wanted to laugh on the spot but I managed to keep my cool... Auntie auntie... U certainly made my day :D As for the weekends, my calender is already jam packed with activities and sleeping in till 11AM is not even one of them!!! Kalau beauty sleep tak cukup, camane nak stay beautiful for my big day kan? *kuang kuang kuuuaaaaang~* Hehehehe.... I thought that I wanted to sleep early tonite.. Time check is 1.33AM and I'm still wide awake.. My dark rings are getting darker and I promised to force myself to sleep early by next wk. Hope I'll be able to do that...Kalau tak nanti korang nampak panda-look-alike duk kat pelamin. Tak glam langsung!!! But kan...very the hard to sleep early lah especially if noone is hogging the PC tau..Hehehe..we'll see how lah ye? *evil grin* Sunday, August 14, 2005Alhamdullillah, even so, we managed to get to tempat "jin ber-tendang" like Hougang, Sengkang, Punggol, Pasir Ris and all those places that are not categories under the WEST area.. No offence to you peeps who live there, but you too would classify Bukit Batok as tempat "jin ber-tendang" too rite? Hehehe.. But den again, we did got lost in Choa Chu Kang.. Pfftt!! Anyways, we dropped by Tanglin Halt to pass the wedding invites to an old neighbour of ours. Goodness, the placed has changed alot!! From the upgraded flats to the new flats being built in the area where a school used to be. Even my mom was surprised of the changed... Yelah.. dah brape zaman tak pegi that area, eversince my aunt pindah to Jurong West. Going there, brought back so much memories of my childhood. We lived in blk 55 where right behind us lies the railway tracks. I can still remember running to the kitchen window everytime I hear a train passing by.. And I love to accompany my uncle to his kebun cos that means I have a closer view when the trains when they pass. Hehehe.. Another thing that I love to do while I'm there is to ride my bicycle in the park nearby. There is where I will speed up and lose control of my bike when making a turn.. Nak try buat corner baring lah but often tak menjadi resulting in a big gash on my knees and elbows.. Dah brape kali jatuh pun tak serik2.. Plus I like to play at the plaground there... Ade swing, sorot2, see-saw, and this big metal spherical shape thing that we can climb on the bars and just hang on.. But I dare not climb to the top... Takut jatuh lah.. At most climb a few bars and bertenggek kat situ for a while. Other than that, I still remember that a few blocks away, there used to be this lady who sells kuih2 from her house. She lives on the 1st floor and her kitchen gate is always open with all the freshly fried goreng pisang, epok2,kuih keria and sorts nicely placed on the dulang for sale. My favourites will be goreng pisang and kuih keria. :D A few blocks dwn also have this apek who sells snacks from his bedroom window!!! Serious!!! He also lived on the 1st floor and what we do is just knocked on his window when we want to buy snacks like kaka and that cikidees.. If I'm not wrong, it only cost dua pocen for one packet!!! mane lagi nak dapat skrang?? While waiting for my mom, my sis & I talk abt all these and that's when I realised that I missed my childhood. Where there were no worries in the world and all I can do is play freely with my friends. Eventhough we have moved, I will still sleep over at my uncles place during the school holidays.. Maybe partly bcos, this means no supervision from my parents and I can just go out and play all day!!! Hehehe... While penning this down, suddenly it dawn to me that 24 years have passed and soon i'm gonna embark on a new journey with the man I'm madly in love with for the past 7 years. GOSH!! I'm feeling the slight jitters oready as I feel I'm ready to end my singledome status but at the same time, I'm scared that I'm not able to cope with the new responsibilities. Do all bride to be feel like this? *worried* I hope this feeling goes away soon. I'll be away for the time being but fret not, I would try and blog if time permits. :) Tata for now! Monday, August 08, 2005I had no idea that other than meeting up to view the wedding videos, these ladies had something planned up their sleeves or as the malay saying goes,"ade udang di sebalik mee" They had actually organised a hen party for me! The blur me (as usual) was "tricked" to accompany Charm to the ladies while the rest of them prepared the surprise. And was I surprised!!! I was practically speechless and laughing my head off while they bestowed me with my party hat!! Hehehehe... I reli had fun and once again thanks to the B2b ladies for the great outing! That tujuh puluh cent I rather spent in on chicken pau for my tea break! Masuk perut kenyang pun!! :P Actually I was abt to comment on the recent article abt another blogger whom got herself noticed with the help of some sensual pix of herself but I decided not to. Siapalah aku to judge or comment on them. I'm a blogger myself and like I mentioned under disclaimer, my blog, my pasal lah!!! I blog as a please and if you dont like them, not my problem. I guess I should apply the same for her or to be precise, the whole bloggerdome! Its just plain simple form of respect lah... Its easy to say thank-yous for the compliments you received or just post back replies in your blog but I dont think the same applies if its the opposite. Worst still if someone who left that "unpleasant" remarks seems to know you personally and airing all your dirty laundry for all to read. Scary!!!! Jauhkan lah such things from happening here. To sum it up Blog+Blogger+sensual/nude pix of ownself=instant celebrity Me=instant celebrity?? Takmo lah!!! Korang nanti tak leh tido kalau I buat gitu... U all will get nightmares for the rest of your lives!!! Muahahahahaha!!!!! I action ajer... Gila nak buat kerja mcm gitu?? Kena plangkong/smackdown dengan my parents & Abang tak balik modal langsung! Speaking abt modal, I just caught the 1st episode of America's Next Top Models(ANTM). At least this is better TV prog den Manhunt... I only watched one episode and I laffing my head off cos I never knew that guys can also be plain mean bitches!!! Hahahaha.. And I cant stand them parading in their speedos.. EEeeeeuuuwwwwww!!!!!! Is it a plot that in this season pun ade this girl that has this f#$%ed up attitude that mcm nak kena sepak/terajang ajer but still can maintain the spot and another girl yg kena eliminated? Agaknyer so that people like me will still tune in to watch whether she will work on her attitude or just remain the same and EVENTUALLY be eliminated? Entah lah ye?? We'll just have to wait and see.. Since CSI Miami pun dah in Wed 10pm slot, I got chance to catch ANTM!! :) |
