I'm Sorry
To My dearest bestfriend Y,
We met as childhood friends, lived at the same blk & even went to the same primary school...I remember those days when we reached school early and walked thru the misty fields..Even when we went to different classes in Pri 4, we will always meet up..be it during recess or after school.. we even took the same ECA.. We were inseparable.. Even when we had our fights & had cold wars.. It didn't last that long cos it felt weird being angry at u...
Things start to change when we were posted to diff sec sch.. We had our hands fulled and barely had time to catch up with each other.. It was hard trying to meet up cos I was in the morng session whilst u were in the afternoon one... We did talked to catch up but it was now and then... Whilst waiting for our "O"s, it was fortunate that we managed to get the same parttime job.. It was then we became close once again... But before long, we had to carry on with our diplomas and soon the previous cycle continues... I had my circle of friends and so did you.. We did meet up once in a while and everytime, we will have a great time!! After poly, you managed to secure a job and soon after so did I.. Now, both of us busy with handling our own jobs and our lives...
Y, I'm sorry that I've not been a good friend that I should.. I claim to be your bestfriend and yet there may be times that u need a shoulder to cry on and I don't even knoe it.. I'm ashamed of myself for always calling u up when I'm troubled and u always patiently give me advices.. Eventhough, both of us are busy and don't talk to each other as often as we used to, those little smses that u sent, means alot cos it reminds me that u still regard me as ur friend and that you will always be my best friend no matter what.
