Wednesday, September 29, 2004We met as childhood friends, lived at the same blk & even went to the same primary school...I remember those days when we reached school early and walked thru the misty fields..Even when we went to different classes in Pri 4, we will always meet up..be it during recess or after school.. we even took the same ECA.. We were inseparable.. Even when we had our fights & had cold wars.. It didn't last that long cos it felt weird being angry at u... Things start to change when we were posted to diff sec sch.. We had our hands fulled and barely had time to catch up with each other.. It was hard trying to meet up cos I was in the morng session whilst u were in the afternoon one... We did talked to catch up but it was now and then... Whilst waiting for our "O"s, it was fortunate that we managed to get the same parttime job.. It was then we became close once again... But before long, we had to carry on with our diplomas and soon the previous cycle continues... I had my circle of friends and so did you.. We did meet up once in a while and everytime, we will have a great time!! After poly, you managed to secure a job and soon after so did I.. Now, both of us busy with handling our own jobs and our lives... Y, I'm sorry that I've not been a good friend that I should.. I claim to be your bestfriend and yet there may be times that u need a shoulder to cry on and I don't even knoe it.. I'm ashamed of myself for always calling u up when I'm troubled and u always patiently give me advices.. Eventhough, both of us are busy and don't talk to each other as often as we used to, those little smses that u sent, means alot cos it reminds me that u still regard me as ur friend and that you will always be my best friend no matter what. Tuesday, September 28, 2004Actually, tis was the 1st makeover that I went to in 2002 & so far my most favourite photo.. the makeovers that I went to subsequently didn't turn out to well...(can't expect much for cheapo packages rite?) So how do I look like after 2 years? Hmm... Tunggu jap eh.. nak gi tengok cermin dulu... 
Macih samer aje.. 2 mata, 1 hidung & 1 mulut..hehehee..Loyar buruk plak aku ni.. Actually, I still look the same but without the makeup and with additional couple of kgs.. I don't even wear makeup for work.. Just slather on mosturiser and bedak Johnson & Johnson and off to work!! No time lah.. slalu lambat for work... SOOooo when I do wear makeup to work.. abislah.. my colleagues confirm will say something.."Wah.. Ayu... go paktor after work hor?" Den sheepishly I will answer "Yar lor... Go paktor..." Beduuhhhh..... den where else would I go when I dress up? I still remember when I wore makeup on a wkdae cos I had a dinner date later.. My colleagues simply blew me away with their response.. Them: "Eh Ayu.. U taking half day izzit?" Me: "Nolah..." Them: "Den today u so pretty.... tot u taking haf day...U going to ROM tonite hor?" Me: "Ahh!!!?? going ROM!!?? NO lah...Got dinner date lah.. Hehehe" Them: "Oohh... we tot u going ROM... tats y we think how come Ayu so hardwerking, still come to werk on her ROM..." I wanted to die laughing on the spot!!!! HAHAHHAAA!!!!!

On Sunday, I went out to town with my sis & cousins cos one of them wanted to look for something to wear for her D&D with a "The Oscars" theme.. Wah!!! Can dress up glamourly sey for this theme.. However, she's pregnant so those glamourous dresses are definately OUT!!! Luckily, she manage to find something stylish @ Mamma Chic located at Specilist Shopping centre.. As for today, I think I strained my back during my kickboxing class.. OUCH!!!! Now I know how my grandma feels when she says her back is aching terribly.. Now, i'm sitting infront of the PC with bantal to support my back... Arghh!!! Really frustrating... I can't even bend down properly!!! Later b4 going to bed, I think nak ask my grandma for some koyok to ease a bit of the pain... Sob.. Sob.. Friday, September 24, 2004 Mum cooked mee goreng kerang today and I must be reli hungry cos tambah dua kali sey!! *gemuk jugak aku*
Nothing much happen at work today except for the fact that the auditors are supposed to come over to do their checking today BUT they called and postponed it to next Tuesday!! Geramnyer!!!!

Wednesday, September 22, 2004Aniway, I'm now at work now, "secretly" logging in to ask u guys for help..Abang gave me a riddle last Monday and till now I can't solve it.. Fill in the blanks: "A ______ chef was ____ to serve the food as there was _____ ." "EASYLah.." "Alamak? Fill in the blanks? Chicken feet dar.." u might say.. But here's the catch: 1) the answer is a 7 letter word 2) the 3 blanks must be filled by the same word! I've been pestering him for the answer but he doesn't want to tell me... :( HELP!!!!!! Today, my time was spent in the storeroom digging up past records of invoices.. Those %#$@ auditors emailed my boss with a LoOOonNG list of documents that they want to verify.. Mind u.. I had to dig up invoices frm 1998-2000 and all the dust is irritating my nostrils, face and since my hands are dirty.. I had to bear with the itchyness... But on a positive note, I couldn't wait for the wrk day to end cos I'm meeting Abang for dinner!! 
We met at Sim Lim cos he wanted to get this BenQ MP3 player and as for me, some CD-R dics & antivirus software.. We sourced around and finally both of us got what we wanted! Next stop: FOOD!! We went to Banquet @ Raffles Hospital and I thought of having Hor Fun but sadly they run out of HorFun noodle. Abang just had Lemon Chicken Rice & I ended up with Tom Yam Fried Fish Noodle & it was HOT!! Now, its 2.30Am & I had just finish installing my antivirus that took me nearly 2hrs to complete! Tis bozo(me lah) forgot to take out the disc when it reboot itself after I uninstall the previous antivirus & automatically the PC did an emergency scan... So I thot.."oh okie.. its performing a routine scan.." so I took short nap & when i woke up, it was still SCANNING!! so i pressed the famously "ALT-CTRL-DELETE" & took out the disc.. DEN i realise my mistake... 
So moral of the story, read the manual & don't ASSUME cos "it makes an Ass of U & Me"! Friday, September 17, 2004
Now where was I... oh yeah.. It was raining cats & dogs after lunch yesterday and boy was it extra damn cold in the office!! They had upgraded the aircon system few weeks back, so right now, my cubicle is like north pole!! My collegues & I keep complaining abt the low temp but one of the supervisors pointed out that we better not complain anymore.. (u see, previously it was to warm.. we complained and thus we got the aircon to be upgraded) So u can imagine that if we complain some more.. They might make the room warm again... I mean, too cold, we can just wear our "winter" clothings right? but if too warm den how? strip dwn to bikinis izzit? 
The rain didn't last for long though, but it was cloudy for the rest of the day.. With this kind of weather, I really had no mood to work.. To make things worse, I had my 2.5 class later in the evening and boy.. I literally had to drag myself there... Fortunately, I manage to stay awake during the class without any dosage of coffee!!! MIRACLE!!!.. Eh wait...or was it the green tea that I had, made me stay awake??? Hmmm..... Wednesday, September 15, 2004Yesterday, my family went to the airport to sent my dad off... (FYI-He's working overseas & his contract stipulates that he works for 3 mths there & gets 1 mth off in Singapore) Although, i'm used to him being overseas for work..I dunno why but i felt a pang of sadness when thinking that i won't be seeing him for the next 3 mths..Sob sob.. :-( Still having trouble in my blog layout & all the html codes are reali driving me nuts!! Fortunately,wonderful "blog angels" from pkh forum came to my rescue and now they're helping me out.. So for now, I have to be contented with the current layout and hopefully i can do some research to understand this foreign language of HTML. Wish me luck!! For the past few weeks, i've 'blogsurfing' and reading abt other people's daily events whom i don't even know... Sometimes i do feel like a stalker.. i mean like i'll followup with their daily lives without even them knowing me... (am i talking any sense?)
